Had weekend off with Nicholas, so that was great! We played lots of Star Wars, but got kinda sick of it as you have to run everyplace slowly thru a bunch of enemies and the game feels like there is way too much talking in it.
We now started playing a newish free online game called archeage tho, and it is beautiful, and has cool music, and gives you tons of options in designing ur character. WE just raised mounts for ourselves, and they look pretty majestic full grown. The monsters in this game are very cool. Makes me think of pokemon a bit. The game is open world, and ou can play on own or in parties, and you get to level up and choose a class and get cool attacks etc like ddo.
Def worth checking out for those of you looking for a new game. I can imagine paying for stuff in this game later. Like I previously mentioned we are free to pla on ddo and eventuall bought most of the packs on there. I think m husband and I have put over 200 into ddo over the years, probably more then that, actually.
If archeage keeps being as fun and as good as it is, I can imagine buying stuff for it too. Very colorful. Has a good feel to the game. :) Highlt reccomend so far. :)
I love costumes, anime, video games, nintendo, music, and most of all my family. I am a big kid who will never grow up. I love sci fi movies and used to be in a Star Trek club. I would go to meetings dressed as Deanna Troi. I think my fave singers are Darren Hayes, Celldweller, and S3RL. Dungeons and Dragons online is the game I play the most. I spend as much time as possible with my husband and family :). I am clingy and kinda insecure. My favorite books were the lord of the rings series.

star wars knights of the old republic invisible fix, ddo, hip hop dance shoes, pom outfits, and fairytail mage stuff
So, my husband and I started playing Star Wars The Old Republic online. My son started playing it too. So far, it is def an interesting and fun game, but def not as good as ddo. Also, it is way more confusing for beginners then ddo.
Currently my son is level 10 and my husband and I are level 12. Time flies by when you are playing this game. Three hours feels like one.
It boots me out of it a lot, and up until now most aliens were missing their heads, hands, and feet on my screen, and my double bladed light saber had no animations when being used and when wearing helmets it either made my head disappear or be bald. lol. Very annoying, especially since the computer I am playing with has plenty of everything it should need to run the game.
My husband and I spent a long time yesterday evening trying to find a fix for my prob, and finally we found that by deleting a certain folder, we were able to fix everything nicely. Yay!
I will include instructions at the bottom of the page for anyone else having probs with bright pink or black heads, invisible head, missing animations, missing body parts etc. Maybe, it will help you too. :)
Anyhow, I am a shadow consular for my character. I have been doing quests with my husband and we take turns doing eachother's quests.
I still way prefer ddo, and love it a ton more, but this game is fun for a break or a change.
For Halloween, I had to work at Starbucks. I couldn't come up with a costume plan that fit in with my work outfit, so finally I decided to be a generic fairytail mage. I made a paper Plue that I had peeking out over top of my apron and I drew fairytail emblem on my cheek with eyeliner pencil, and I braided colored cloth into my hair and put it up, and wore a cheerleading style skirt over top of my work pants with leg warmers that were black and white striped, also over top, and a belt that was wide slung low over my hip. I wore a black and red camosille (sp) top over a black long sleeved shirt and a black dog collar. Kinda a weird conglomeration. I don't think anyone even knew who I was supposed to be. Someone thought I was a pirate. lol
Two more of the cute clothes items I ordered for Corduroy came in the mail today. I am waiting for Nicholas to come home before trying them on.
Nicholas was finally able to get me my birthday gift from Neche this weekend. It was a pair of those black hip hop/dance/ballet type shoes. I used to have a pair I loved, but my ex mom in law did something with one of em, so I did not have em for a number of years now. But he got me a new black pair. :) I love them because they are so flexible and comfy. They have soles under heel and ball of foot but arch has no sole, it is just a thick area of the same stuff sides of shoes are made of so u can bend ur foot a bunch. Feels extra light and less binding to be able to move ur foot more :) It was super thoughtful of him to remember how much I loved em and get me a new pair. :)
Guess I better go get ready for work now..
